Sophie Staton, LCSW (they/she) is a Clinical Social Worker and Therapist providing outpatient therapy services in the Adult Psychiatry Department of Boston Medical Center. They are also affiliated with Boston Medical Center’s GenderCare Center where they provide individual therapy to gender diverse patients, conduct surgical referral letter assessments, and assist in trainings about gender-affirming care. Sophie’s practice consists of strengths-based, client-centered work involving therapy modalities of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
