About

Dr. Barbaresso is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her OB/GYN residency at Baystate Medical Center, and pursued fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the University of Louisville. Her clinical focus includes the management of complex gynecologic conditions, with particular expertise in endometriosis, pelvic pain, fibroids, and abnormal uterine bleeding. Dr. Barbaresso is deeply committed to advancing health equity, with a passion for addressing disparities in women’s healthcare and bridging gaps in access and education for diverse populations. She integrates innovative surgical techniques with compassionate care to improve patient outcomes. In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in research and medical education, mentoring the next generation of gynecologic surgeons and advocating for equitable, evidence-based care.
