An Update Regarding Seasonal Illnesses

To help prevent the spread of seasonal respiratory illnesses, we strongly encourage all visitors to wear a mask while in ambulatory clinics or inpatient units. Surgical masks are available at hospital and clinic entrances. Patients with respiratory illnesses should also wear masks. Thank you for helping protect our patients, staff, and community.

About

Michael W. O’Donnell, MD, is a board-certified internist and nephrologist in the Department of Medicine at Boston Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Nephrology) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. O’Donnell received his medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine in Buffalo, New York, where he also completed his internal medicine residency. He subsequently completed additional training in nephrology at Boston Medical Center.

Dr. O'Donnell  is a clinician educator with special interest in medical education and mentorship for medical trainees at all stages. His clinical interests include POCUS, home dialysis, and expanding access to nephrology care through telemedicine.
