Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Kathleen Lapommeray, CNM, MSN, WHNP-BC is a certified nurse midwife in the Department of OB/GYN at Boston Medical center and is an Instructor, Boston University School of Medicine. Kathleen's research interests include maternal health equity, and racial disparities in maternal health with a focus on reducing these disparities through trauma-informed and patient-centered maternity care.
