Ethan Manelin, MD, PhD

Ethan Manelin, MD, PhD, is a board-certified primary care physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Boston Medical Center – Brighton (BMC Brighton), and an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Section of General Internal Medicine at the Boston University Avedisian & Chobanian School of Medicine. Dr. Manelin also serves as Assistant Medical Director for BMC’s Population Health team, where his work focuses on improving care for some of our community’s most medically complex and vulnerable patients.

Dr. Manelin received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his general internal medicine residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, both in Boston.

Dr. Manelin also holds a doctorate in medical anthropology from Harvard University and has conducted research on complex care management and quality improvement programs in a variety of settings. He is passionate about providing high-quality, personalized care to all patients, and about helping to build a more effective and equitable health system.
