About

Asa S. Paris, MSN, is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Boston Medical Center and an Instructor of Anesthesiology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She served in the United States Navy Reserve for seven years. She has worked as a CRNA for seven years in both the greater Boston area and Phoenix, Arizona.

Asa’s research interests include the phenomenon of emergence delirium in patients undergoing anesthesia. While in graduate school at Fairfield University, she focused her capstone research on examining the prevalence of emergence delirium in the veteran population undergoing surgery at the West Haven Veterans Association.
