Amrit Misra, MD, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) who specializes in treatment of adult congenital heart defects.

Dr. Misra earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, and completed his residency in pediatric internal medicine through Wayne State University at Detroit Medical Center. He subsequently completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology, also through Wayne State, at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, and completed further advanced training in the Boston Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Pulmonary Hypertension Senior Fellowship Program run jointly by Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Misra’s clinical interests include adult congenital cardiology, community/global health, and transitional medicine.
