Abraham E. Jaffe, MD

Abraham E. Jaffe, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in trauma and critical care surgery at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Jaffe received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Medical School in Worcester and completed his general surgery residency training at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Jaffe has a strong interest in addressing social determinants of health on both a local and global scale, and has worked in a free clinic in Worcester as well as a research project on trauma care in rural Gujarat, India. He currently serves as faculty leader of the education branch of the Socially Responsible Surgery group at BMC.
