In 2018, BMC completed our clinical campus redesign project, which unified many of our clinical services to one campus in order to better serve our patients. Now, as our health system continues to expand and serve even more patients and members of the community, we are excited that we are growing our physical space and updating several of our facilities.

In 2025, BMC finished its second campus redesign project, which aligned our physical spaces with the clinical innovation and excellence that defines our work and mission.

A New Welcome

We're excited to welcome you through our new main entrance for the Menino (840 Harrison Ave.) and Yawkey (850 Harrison Ave.) buildings. This milestone is part of our ongoing commitment to offer improved patient drop-off and valet areas, a redesigned handicapped parking lot, better access from Mass Ave., and more seating.

In total, BMC’s campus redesign projects added:

  • Updated drop-off and pick-up lanes for improved traffic flow
  • A new convenient location for our Yawkey Pharmacy (as of Nov. 24, 2025)
  • New and improved outpatient clinics for Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Adult Psychiatry
  • Expanded services in Crosstown Building, located at 801 Mass Ave., to better serve our patients using the clinics inside the building. New spaces include a retail pharmacy, an outpatient imaging suite with diagnostic x-ray and mammography machines, and a blood draw suite
  • Med/surg and critical care inpatient bed suites in the Yawkey Center
  • Additional operating rooms in the Menino Building
  • A new, modern Menino lobby, including an expansion of the cafeteria seating area, improved patient drop-off and valet areas, improved access from Mass Ave to the Yawkey, Menino, and Moakley Building entrances, wider drop-off roadways, and a reconfigured handicapped parking lot

Please make sure to leave extra time to get to your appointment if it's the first time you're visiting our new spaces. We appreciate your patience as we improved our facilities and look forward to welcoming you.
