Treatments and Services

STD/HIV Screening and Treatment

Basic testing services are available during clinic hours. All clients who are experiencing symptoms or have had sexual contact with someone with an STD, or who are looking to be seen for routine or asymptomatic screening, should contact the clinic to schedule an appointment.

The Clinic offers testing for:

  • Hepatitis C
  • HIV
  • Sexually transmitted infections (STI)

The Clinic provides treatments including:

  • Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
  • (Non-occupational) post-exposure prophylaxis (nPEP)
  • Direct access to antiretroviral therapy (DAART)
  • Treatments for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

PrEP and PEP

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) are medical regimens individuals may take to help prevent HIV. These are available by prescription only.

  • PrEP is used for individuals who may be at an elevated risk for HIV based on their lifestyle
  • PEP is used for individuals who have been potentially exposed to HIV within the past 72 hours
