The pediatric psychiatry team at BMC offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, as well as evidence-based treatments that include:

- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)

- Narrative therapy
- Parent education and parenting skills training

Mental Health Crisis and Same-Day Support
BMC’s Community Behavioral Health Center (BMC CBHC) offers 24/7 mental health crisis support by phone (including deployment of a mobile team if necessary) and same-day, walk-in support seven days a week during daytime hours in the CBHC Youth Clinic.
Holistic Support for Families
At BMC, we believe parents and caregivers can best support children when the whole family is stable and supported. Our staff can also help with referrals to BMC programs such as the Preventive Food Pantry and THRIVE as well as connect our patients and their families to other support organizations in the greater Boston area.
