Infectious Disease Consult Service

Treatments and Services

We provide all care necessary to treat infectious diseases in patients admitted to BMC, as well as clinical advice to providers. This includes:

  • Evaluation of infectious diseases
  • Management of infectious diseases
  • Triage for infectious-disease related follow-up care
  • Pre-transplant evaluations  
  • Prophylaxis assessments for patients undergoing chemotherapy or other immunosuppressive treatments
  • Referral to COpAT
