About

Dr. Noviawaty is a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology in Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and the Epilepsy Division Chief at Boston Medical Center. She completed her fellowship at the Cleveland Clinical Foundation. She joined the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School as the Director the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and as the co-Director of Epilepsy Surgery. She joined Boston University and Boston Medical Center in 2023. Dr. Noviawaty specializes in complex epilepsy management and pre-surgical evaluation. She is actively involved in clinical operation optimization and expansion along with transitional care from pediatric to adult epilepsy clinic. In her past role, she re-vamped the comprehensive epilepsy division leading to NAEC level 4 certification at UMass. Her research interest includes seizure semiology and treatment outcome. She is actively involved in clinical trials and development of simulation tools for medical education.
