Emily M. Fox, MSN, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife (CNM) at Boston Medical Center (BMC), and an Instructor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Emily holds an undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. Before pursuing nursing as a career, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali, where she worked as a Health Educator. Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the combined midwifery program offered by Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, in collaboration with Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In addition to working in the Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum Unit at BMC, Emily provides care to patients at BMC’s Refugee Women's Health Center (RWHC).
