Pediatric Genetics

The genetics team offers genetic testing for children who may have inherited conditions or congenital anomalies ("birth defects"), developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, unique physical features, or unusual growth patterns. A genetic diagnosis can help guide future care and connect families with support groups, research opportunities, and others with similar experiences. It's also common for children to be referred and not receive a genetic diagnosis, but the evaluation can still offer helpful information, and further genetic testing may become available over time.
