Obstetrics and Gynecology Department

A department providing women’s reproductive healthcare and other OBGYN services, including pregnancy, fertility, and menstrual conditions.

Expert care for uterine fibroids with personalized fibroids treatment options, including evaluation and advanced medical or surgical management.

A program providing diagnosis and treatment for gynecologic cancers, including cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers.

A clinic providing women’s health services to refugees, asylum seekers, and recent immigrants, including reproductive and prenatal care.

Education and Training

Obstetrics and Gynecology Clerkships

Our obstetrics and gynecology clerkship offers medical students a six-week rotation, combining inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and gynecology experiences. We also offer an inpatient gynecology clerkship, where students participate in all activities of the gynecology service.

OB/GYN Residency Program

Our residency program prepares our residents with the medical knowledge, surgical expertise, and leadership skills necessary to be outstanding physicians and surgeons who make a true difference in the communities that they serve. 

Complex Family Planning Fellowship

The fellowship in complex family planning aims to develop obstetrician-gynecologist leaders in abortion and contraception through training in clinical care, research, education and advocacy. 

Research Overview

Our gynecology providers are active in a wide range of research, including academic research, clinical trials, and research programs. Current research areas include contraceptive management and family planning initiatives, prevention and eradication of cervical cancer, and the immunological aspects of human reproductive health.
