As of January 2025, MassHealth members enrolled in an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) may be eligible for support with food and housing needs.

Nourish at Home, a program through Boston Medical Center, is designed to address food insecurity and health-related needs among families with young children receiving care through BMC's Pediatrics Department. The program also supports the local food economy by prioritizing community-based sourcing.

Our food boxes are designed by registered dietitians and shaped by patient feedback. Each box is packed with fresh, locally sourced ingredients in collaboration with Nubian Markets and delivered directly to patients' homes through a collaboration with DoorDash.

We offer two types of boxes: a meal box and an ingredient box. The meal box includes a combination of prepared meals and cooking ingredients, while the ingredient box provides only ingredients for cooking, with no prepared meals. Both options are delivered twice a month during the first and third weeks.

In addition to the food boxes, patients can participate in virtual cooking classes led by a culinary dietitian, as well as receive one-on-one nutrition counseling with our pediatric dietitians.
