About

Matthew Nayor, MD, MPH is a cardiologist at Boston Medical Center and is Associate Professor of Medicine at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Nayor is board certified in Cardiology and in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology and he sees patients with heart failure syndromes and with general cardiovascular conditions. Dr. Nayor is also a clinical-translational investigator focused on understanding how to prevent cardiovascular diseases earlier in their course. His NIH-funded laboratory is closely involved with the Framingham Heart Study and he leads several projects evaluating how responses of the human body to specific stressors (such as exercise or a meal) can provide insight on underlying health and resiliency to disease.
