BMC's general/comprehensive neurologists work closely with our specialized neurologists across many areas to enhance our expert patient care. They practice comprehensive neurology, which means they diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions that affect the nervous system, including complex conditions that span multiple subspecialties.

A department providing neurosurgical surgery and care for conditions affecting the brain and nervous system.

A department providing geriatric medicine and elder care for a variety of aging-related health needs to help older adults maintain health and independence.
Primary care for people over 18 years old including preventive services, routine exams, chronic disease management, and treatment of minor illness.

A department providing primary care to support patients of all ages, including adult and pediatric care, women’s health, and behavioral health.

Education and Training

Neurology Residency

The general neurology division faculty participate in the education and training of residents who wish to gain experience in general neurology. Medical students and medical interns routinely rotate in general neurology clinics.
