Our new van launched March 6th, 2026! It was intentionally designed to be family-centered and inviting. It is more spacious to accomodate more family members and learners, even strollers! It has top-of-the-line equipment and can allow for more OBGYN-specific medical care like exams, pap smears, and more comfortable LARC placement. It has a medical-grade refrigerator for which we plan on using to store vaccines.

Program Director Alice Cruikshank, FNP, and Community Wellness Advocate Sameera Jangala attended The Basics Learning Network 2026 Conference in Boston, MA. The Basics Principles are "five science-based parenting and caregiving tenets that support social, emotional, and cognitive development of children from birth to age five" (from the Basics.org website). The conference sparked ideas about how to embed the Basics principles into Curbside Care programming and beyond! For more information about the Basics, see their website.
