In addition, our inpatient primary team, which serves patients who are being admitted for care of complex infections benefit, is staffed by an attending infectious diseases physician, a senior resident, an intern from BMC's internal medicine residency program, and medical students from the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Trainees gain direct experience and didactic education pertinent to the specialty of Infectious Diseases from faculty, as well as our infectious diseases pharmacists.
