Boston Medical Center's Community Violence Response Team (CVRT) provides services to survivors of violence and family members who have been impacted by violence. We provide counseling services and other forms of support to children and adults of all ages. All services are non-insurance based and free to clients and their families.

Trauma and Acute Care Surgery
Trauma doctors specially trained to care for urgent injuries and critical conditions provide emergency surgical services, including ER surgery.
Emergency Medicine
A department providing emergency care in the ER with 24/7 treatment for trauma and urgent medical conditions.
Research Overview
In the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, injury reduction and prevention is a significant focus of research, as is research centered on community-based violence prevention, trauma-informed care, and firearm injuries.
