An Update Regarding Seasonal Illnesses

To help prevent the spread of seasonal respiratory illnesses, we strongly encourage all visitors to wear a mask while in ambulatory clinics or inpatient units. Surgical masks are available at hospital and clinic entrances. Patients with respiratory illnesses should also wear masks. Thank you for helping protect our patients, staff, and community.

About

Dr. Lenio is an assistant professor of neurology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. His clinical practice at Boston Medical Center spans cognitive and behavioral disorders, acute neurological disorders as an inpatient neurologist, and general neurology in the outpatient setting. He received his MD from Case Western Reserve University before completing residency at the University of Colorado, where he served as chief resident of education during his final year. He then completed a fellowship in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. He has a special interest in the provision of practical and cost effective care for patients with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, as well as in functional neurological disorders. He contributes to research and clinical trials through the Alzheimer's disease research center, the BU CTE Center, and the Framingham Heart Study.
