Somala Mohammed, MD, is a board-certified pediatric surgeon affiliated with Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Boston Children's Hospital (BCH). She is also an assistant professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School, where she completed her medical degree. She then completed a surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship at BCH. Dr. Mohammed's specialties include appendicitis, circumcision, foker process, inguinal hernia, tracheoesophageal fistula, and umbilical hernia.
