Dr. Sherry Tang is a plastic surgeon specializing in general reconstructive surgery and microsurgery, with clinical interests in breast reconstruction and gender-affirming surgery. She also serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Tang earned her undergraduate degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan. She then spent a year serving with AmeriCorps in Philadelphia, where she focused on public health and worked with underserved communities, before earning her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She returned to Ann Arbor to complete her Integrated Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Michigan, followed by a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
