About

Robert Helm, MD, FHRS, is a cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Device Center at Boston Medical Center (BMC), as well as an assistant professor of Radiology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Helm specializes in cardiac electrophysiology and is an expert in atrial fibrillation (AF) and other arrhythmia disorders. He has been practicing for more than 15 years, and has significant experience with cardiac resynchronization therapy and ablation procedures. Dr. Helm’s research focuses on improving risk assessment and treatment of AF, and he is the author of a number of peer-reviewed publications, invited reviews, and book chapters.
