Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Joshua Davies, MD, is a general and minimally invasive surgeon at Boston Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He has specific expertise and interests in hernia surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction for complicated abdominal wall and flank hernias, with a focus on tailoring surgery to the individual patient's specific needs and goals. In addition, Dr. Davies manages and treats a wide breadth of general surgery diseases and disorders. He is an active member in a number of national surgical and hernia societies.
