About

Hector A. Marquez, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Assistant Professor of Pulmonary, Allergy, Sleep & Critical Care Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and has been in practice for more than fifteen years.

Dr. Marquez specializes in caring for patients with asthma and obstructive airway diseases. His research interests include early lung development, airway smooth muscle development, and stem-cell biology.
