BMC’s Yawkey building doors are now closed as an entrance as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our campus and provide you with the best clinical care.

All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. Genevieve L. Preer, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Boston Medical Center (BMC), where she also co-leads the Department of Pediatrics' Immigrant Health Task Force. Dr. Preer is also a clinical associate professor of pediatrics in ambulatory care services at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Preer completed a pediatrics residency at Boston Children's Hospital/BMC. She also works as a care consultant and a case reviewer on the Child Protection Team at various universities in Massachusetts. Dr. Preer recently received the Excellence in Care Award from the Boston University Medical Group.
