David S. Wang, MD

David S. Wang, MD, is a board-certified urologist and minimally invasive urologic surgeon at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and BMC Brighton, and an Associate Professor of Urology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Wang received his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, and completed surgery residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and urology residency training at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

Dr. Wang specializes in both benign and malignant conditions, including kidney stones, urinary tract stones, and tumors. He is an expert in the field of endoscopic and minimally invasive urologic surgery, including robotic radical prostatectomy, radical nephrectomy, donor nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, and repair of ureteropelvic junction obstruction.

Dr. Wang has published extensively in leading urology journals, authored numerous textbook chapters, and has presented at conferences at the national and international level. He is an editor for the Urologic Survey Section of the Journal of Urology and is a member of the Endourological Society, the American Urological Association, and the Massachusetts Association of Practicing Urologists.
