Danielle T. Walker, PhD, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Danielle T. Walker, PhD, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston Medical Center (BMC). She is an Assistant Profesor of the Practice at the Boston College Connell School of Nursing, where she directs the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program.

Dr. Walker provides medication management for individuals who experience psychosis in the specialty Clozapine and Injection Clinics within the Wellness and Recovery after Psychosis (WRAP) Program. She also provides medication management for patients in the general outpatient psychiatry clinic.

Dr. Walker holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Master of Science degree from Boston College, and a doctorate (PhD) in Nursing Science from the Boston College Connell School of Nursing. She has years of experience working with diverse populations in various settings. Her research interests include examining the impact of violence exposure in young adults, especially in those who experience psychosis.

In her free time, Dr. Walker enjoys spending time with family and frequenting local restaurants.
