R. Alyssa Fazzino, CCC-SLP received her Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Connecticut. She has spent her career working with adults in acute care hospitals in Connecticut until her move to Boston in 2025 to join the Boston Medical Center inpatient SLP team. Alyssa specializes in managing a range of swallowing disorders including critical care-induced dysphagia, respiratory-induced dysphagia, and end-of-life dysphagia. She has a special interest in working with vulnerable and underserved populations, specifically in the area of dysphagia ethics and patient-focused care.
