Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Alexandra R. Pipilas, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and internist at Boston Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She is also an Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Pipilas focuses of treating a wide variety of cardiovascular conditions, with a specific interest in women’s health.
