Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Ala Nozari, MD, PhD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Boston Medical Center - Brighton, where he serves as Chief of Anesthesiology. Dr. Nozari is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Vice Chair of Academic Affairs in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

After receiving his medical degree in Uppsala, Sweden, Dr. Nozari completed a residency in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
