Ryan Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and the Section Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Throughout his career, he has conducted extensive research into the basic molecular and cellular mechanisms of myocardial remodeling, and the pathophysiology and treatment of heart failure. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed articles as well as numerous chapters and books on heart failure.
