Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

William G. Adams, MD, is a pediatrician, epidemiologist, and medical informatician at Boston Medical Center (BMC). He is also a professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He serves as the director of Clinical Research Informatics for Boston University and the director of Child Health Informatics for the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. His research interests include developing and evaluating information technology (IT)-based solutions, such as electronic health records for children and patient-centered IT, for improving the quality of health and healthcare for children and families.
