Susan L. Phillips, MD, is a board-certified primary care physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where she also serves as Associate Chief for Faculty Affairs in the Section of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Phillips received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency training in internal medicine at Boston Medical Center/Boston University. She also holds a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Phillips has been practicing General Internal Medicine for more than 30 years. She has a thoughtful and thorough approach to patient care, taking time to listen to her patients and provide clear direction throughout their medical journeys. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Phillips is a work/life integration mentor to graduate students and faculty.
