Olga Beresneva, MD, is a board-certified colorectal surgeon with expertise in robotic surgery at Boston Medical Center (BMC), Boston Medical Center – Brighton, and Boston Medical Center – South. She is also Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Beresneva earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed her general surgery residency at Boston Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Dr. Beresneva’s clinical and research interests include new technologies and techniques to treat colorectal disorders, and colorectal surgery outcomes and quality improvement.
