Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Jasvinder S Bhatia, MD, is a nephrologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a clinical associate professor of Nephrology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Bhatia received his medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and has been practicing since, for over 20 years. His expertise includes continuous renal replacement therapies, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, nephrolithiasis, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease.
