Gustavo A. Mercier, MD, PhD

Gustavo A. Mercier, MD, PhD, MBA, MAS, is a radiologist and nuclear cardiologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC). He specializes in molecular imaging, oncology imaging, cardiology imaging, neurology imaging, and cross sectional imaging. Dr. Mercier is also the Chief of Molecular Imaging and Nuclear Medicine at Boston Medical Center and a clinical associate professor of Radiology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He is a prolific researcher interested in the application of PET/CT in oncology and neurology, MRI contrast media, imaging operations, and imaging in public health economics. Dr. Mercier graduated from the MD-PhD program at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York and has been in practice for more than 30 years.
