Frank A. Scangarello, MD, PhD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician and rheumatologist/immunologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Boston Medical Center - Brighton (BMC Brighton). He also sees patients at BMC Multispecialty Care in Norwood, Massachusetts. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Scangarello received his medical degree as well as a doctorate in immunology from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, followed by a fellowship in rheumatology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He additionally holds a Master of Science degree (MS) in biochemistry from Brandeis University.
