Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Elizabeth A. Stier, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. A prolific researcher, Dr. Stier is an expert in anal cancer prevention in HIV+ men and women, cervical cancer prevention and treatment, HIV-positive women and cervical cancer screening, and vulvar dysplasia. She received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, and has been in practice for more than 30 years.
