Andrew Seto, MD

Andrew Seto, MD, is an attending breast surgical oncologist and general surgeon at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Seto earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his general surgery residency at the Stamford Hospital/Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons program in Connecticut, followed by a Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO)-accredited breast surgical oncology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Mount Sinai Health System in New York City.

At BMC, Dr. Seto's clinical practice focuses on the surgical treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the breast. He works closely with a multidisciplinary team and partners with patients to develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and preferences. His clinical and research interests include surgical oncology outcomes, breast cancer disparities, and surgical education.
