Outpatient Pharmacy

The Outpatient Pharmacies at Boston Medical Center provide prescription services to patients seeing providers within BMC affiliated practices. The pharmacies are staffed by over 15 different pharmacists that provide counseling to patients on any of their medications.

Pharmacy Services

Mail Order

Enroll in the mail-order service and you can have your medications mailed directly to your home. There is no need to wait in line and prescriptions will be sent in discrete packaging. As an additional benefit, medications can be automatically refilled for you.  No calling, no remembering prescription numbers.  Medications will arrive a few days before you run out.

Blister Pack

For patients that prefer to receive medications packaged in a single or multi-dose package, the pharmacy can provide that service as well. There is no additional charge for this service. 

Additional Services

Pharmacists review your profile for appropriateness and interactions every time your fill a prescription.  Also, if at any time you would like to have a pharmacist review your medications for cost-effectiveness, safety and efficacy, or problems with insurance, just ask. We’ll be glad to help.
