As a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Boston Medical Center’s NICU has the capacity to take care of the most critically ill newborns, whether full term or premature. We have state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, a highly trained and skilled staff and are well-prepared to manage the most complex cases. In addition, we support developmentally appropriate care including kangaroo care and breastfeeding, which are important to infants cared for in the NICU.
