Our Team

Katie Anderson, CCLS

Katie Anderson received her undergraduate degree in Human Development, with a concentration in Child Life from Wheelock College.   Katie interned at Boston Medical Center and was later hired as a child life specialist.  Katie currently works on the pediatric inpatient floor, pediatric intensive care unit and with the pediatric sedation team.

Rachele DeLeo, CCLS

Rachele DeLeo received her undergraduate degree in Family Studies, with a concentration in Child Development from the University of New Hampshire. Rachele completed her internship at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children and has been working at BMC as a child life specialist on the inpatient floor, pediatric intensive care unit, and in the pediatric emergency room.

Kate King, CCLS

Kate King received her undergraduate degree from Colby Sawyer College.  Prior to working at Boston Medical Center, she was a child life specialist in the emergency department at Tucson Medical Center.  Kate also worked as a developmental specialist for Early Intervention in Massachusetts.  Kate is now the child life specialist for the pediatric primary care clinic here at Boston Medical Center.  In addition to traditional child life responsibilities Kate also coordinates the early intervention referrals.

Alyssa Montalvo, CCLS

Alyssa Montalvo received her undergraduate degree in Human Development, with a concentration in Child Life from Wheelock College.  Alyssa interned at Boston Medical Center in the Pediatric Emergency Department as well as Brockton Early Intervention.  Alyssa currently works in the pediatric emergency department and in the operating room.

Hallie Filreis, CCLS

Hallie Filreis received her undergraduate degree from Utica College.  Hallie did her internship at Children's Hospital of Boston and started at BMC as a per diem.  She now works as a child life specialist in both the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic and on the pediatric inpatient floor.

Courtney Seiter, CCLS

Courtney Seiter has a bachelors degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia.  She completed an internship at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta where she worked primarily in Radiology and Neurology.  Courtney was a child life specialist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for 2.5 years working in the emergency.
