Medline Plus - U.S. National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health
MedlinePlus has extensive information from the National Institutes of Health and other trusted sources on over 700 diseases and conditions. There are also a medical encyclopedia and a medical dictionary, health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, health information from the media and links to thousands of clinical trials.

National Institute for Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Disorders
Information on various musculoskeletal disorders, including arthritis, hip replacement, knee and shoulder problems, and scoliosis. NIAMS is a division of the National Institutes of Health.

The Arthritis Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organization that supports the more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions with advocacy, programs, services and research. Their website contains educational materials on all topics relating to arthritis, including treatment, medications and prevention.

American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons
The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons provides education and practice management services for orthopaedic surgeons and allied health professionals. The Academy also serves as an advocate for improved patient care and informs the public about the science of orthopaedics.

American Medical Association

Orthopaedic Research Society

Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America 
The Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) has as its mission the development and implementation of the highest quality education of pediatric orthopaedists thereby assuring the best possible care of musculoskeletal pediatric patients. Scoliosis Research Society
The Scoliosis Research Society is a professional organization, made up of physicians and allied health personnel. The primary focus is on providing continuing medical education for health care professionals and on funding/supporting research in spinal deformities.
