Our Facilities
Boston Medical Center has three main operating room areas:
- Newton Pavilion
With a total of 10 operating theaters, these operating rooms are used to perform a wide variety of cases emphasizing complex and specialized operations including cardiothoracic surgery and neurosurgical and vascular procedures.
- Menino Pavilion
Hosting eight operating rooms and two obstetrical suites, most of the trauma cases, as well as all obstetrical and pediatric procedures, are cared for at the Menino Pavilion.
- Moakley Ambulatory Surgery Center (PDF)
Located in the new Moakley Building, the Ambulatory Surgery Center has six state-of-the-art operating rooms with all the characteristics of the “surgical suite of the future.”
The Anesthesia Pain Clinic is located in the Moakley Ambulatory Surgery Center (2nd floor of the Moakley Building).
