BMC’s Yawkey building doors are now closed as an entrance as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our campus and provide you with the best clinical care.

All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. We are excited to welcome you and appreciate your patience as we improve our facilities.

BMC’s experienced transplant team is devoted to improving our patients’ quality of life through successful organ transplantation. Our highly specialized surgeons and multidisciplinary clinical team provide expert and compassionate care. The transplant program at Boston Medical Center is designed to guide and support our patients and their loved ones through every step of the transplant process so they feel comfortable no matter what their background is. We also follow all transplanted patients for life through testing and follow-up visits.
