#### Recommended Zoom Meeting Strategies for Extra Security

For added security, IT strongly recommends the following:

- Change the screen sharing option to "Host Only." If you need to have multiple people share their screen during a presentation, set the additional presenters to "co-host" and they will be able to share as well.
- Do not post links to your meeting on public sites, like the web or any social media. Use direct email instead.
- When a higher level of confidentiality is required, make the meeting private and require a password for the attendees to enter the room.
- As host you can also require a waiting room for your meeting where each user must wait until they are approved by a host or co-host.
